Catherine’s vision is to heal you on all levels – emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. As a board-certified member awarded the status of Fellow by the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology, Dr. Multari delivers evidence-based, compassionate, and exceptional care to empower your health journey.

Not a stranger to discipline, hard work and community, Dr. Multari was a Division 1 varsity rowing team member winning a national championship and being named a national scholar-athlete while completing her Bachelor of Science in Education at the University of Virginia. She continues to be committed to uncompromised excellence.

Jessica Scattolon

Founder + CEO

Jessica wants to make things better tomorrow than they were today. Always curious, she recognized the gap in the healthcare industry for women like her entering a long, unchartered stage in life with little support. As founder and CEO of AlterEgo, she is thrilled to help those in need of menopausal care and education.

Throughout her career, the notion of continuous improvement has been most important. Jessica spent close to a decade working in the retail industry in retail operations and marketing at Artizia, and as founder of NSO Projects, a retail consultancy.

Learning to optimize operations and how to communicate with clients paved the way to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.

Previous to retail, Jessica’s background included the legal and insurance industries, telecom, film and real estate development. She married her broad operations, business and marketing experience to bring everything together and form AlterEgo Health while completing her Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management and Digital Strategy at Harvard University.

Jessica is enjoying mountain culture living in Whistler with her husband and identical twin boys. She loves to ski, golf, hike, bike, and hang out with family and friends appreciating great food, music and company. Honest friendships and trustworthy relationships are her keys to managing stress and experiencing the best life has to offer.

Jessica wants to make things better tomorrow than they were today. Always curious, she recognized a gap in the healthcare industry for women entering a long, unchartered stage in life with little support just like her. It all started when…

Laura and Jess Laughing

my older sister asked me for a tampon. Her period was like a scene from a 90s slasher movie. I handed her my super, non-applicator, organic tampon. She looked at me, rolled her eyes and then burst out laughing. She told me “that won’t last 30 seconds”, still laughing. Over time, she shared with me all the crazy things that were happening to her. I was sooo naive. I’d soon find out.

One day a few years later, I started having heavy, heavy bleeding just like hers. And it continued for days on end. Sure enough, my little super organic tampon was a bust. I moved on to the most super, duper, plus, plus I could find. Those lasted about 30 minutes. I hate when she’s right.

Lucky for me, we talk about stuff. If I hadn’t heard about this (and other) menopause symptoms from her, I would have been scared sh*tless. Because I knew what was happening was “normal”, I didn’t freak out and sought help quickly.

Today, I want everyone to be prepared about what’s coming and be knowledgeable about what happens before and after menopause. And here we are. That is how AlterEgo was born.

We all have the best version of ourselves buried somewhere below all the hormonal, emotional, and physical changes and stresses going on as we age. Remember her? She’s still there. Let’s bring her back – she’s fun.

Love,
